A charter bus journey to New Orleans, Louisiana

April 27th, 2007

I’ve been to New Orleans Louisiana once when I was a kid and all I could remember was boring rides and “are we there yets.” Last summer I got to take a charter bus holiday with my husband, kids and friends. This time around to New Orleans I had a great time and didn’t even have to hit up the French Corridor and Bourbon Street. I strongly recommend New Orleans charter bus service as a family getaway.

There are many unique attractions in New Orleans, one being the Musee Conti Wax Museum that presents the history of New Orleans in an extremely unique way. The wax museum tells everyone a fascinating story about New Orleans from its beginning until present day. A must-see charter bus attraction in New Orleans.  For those who love to gamble should make a charter bus stop at Harrah’s Casino which was voted ‘Best Casino’ by Casino Player. Harrah’s casino is unique because it is perched, like, at the edge of Mississippi River. Just step outside and there you have it, quite an enchanting view.

Another unique charter bus experience was when the charter bus driver took us for the Royal Carriages ride. It’s uniquely New Orleans and you can’t find these types of things anywhere else in the country. The quaint little mule will drag the carriages past many New Orleans landmarks and historical sites! Highly amusing for the kids also. If you know your Geography, you’ll know that New Orleans is literally swamp land – and that’s what special about it. take the charter bus for one of its swamp tours and let nature surround and embrace you while you tour the New Orleans swamps. I recommend the Honey Island Swamp Tours, Jean Lafitte Swamp Tours and the Westwego Swamp Adventures! I promise you the kids will be thrilled with the rides.

Cajun Cabin, one of New Orleans best-selling restaurants is the perfect place to take the charter bus to for some people-watching. And they provide free dance lessons too – frankly, with good food and reasonable pricing added to it, it’s a hard-to-beat deal, don’t you agree?
