February 21st, 2007Why not charter a bus for you and your friends to Las Vegas? This winter, several friends and I were working to plan a girl’s weekend out in Vegas. We wanted our big decisions to revolve around choosing between the Rio and the Hard Rock Hotel, not who was going to drive there, where we were going to park the car and who would be the designated driver for the weekend.

We were able to arrange for local service all around Las Vegas so we could go to brunch at a friend’s house in the suburbs on Saturday morning and be back at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville that afternoon. Our driver was amazing; he worked around our crazy schedule and, because he was familiar with the area, knew when the best time to ride the Roller Coaster at New York-New York was and that the best place to go after a night out on the strip would be the Peppermill for dessert. We also were rather new to the gambling scene so he was more than happy to take us to downtown Vegas where the BlackJack table was a little less intimidating. And after our weekend he drove us back to L.A. while we stretched out on our private Las Vegas charter bus and assured us upon drop-off that “what happened in Vegas, stayed in Vegas.” After this experience I think this bus trip with the girls may become an annual event.
