Dancing all over Detroit during my charter bus trip
May 7th, 2007We all know that Detroit is the heart of automobile production but I learned something new when I rented a charter bus to Detroit for the fifth time (this time, it’s for my old college roommate’s wedding) Detroit is the oldest city in the Midwest. That’s why it’s got all those cultural scenes all over the place and there are so many big draws for foreign tourists that it’s really no wonder that Detroit is consistently buzzing with activities! We stuffed ourselves silly with their desserts and endless list of freshly baked goodies. Honestly, this is pastry haven. The bad news is that we probably walked out of the shop a couple of lbs heavier after that – but the good news is that we probably danced the lbs away every night!
Talking about nightspots, Detroit is never short of clubs and bars. Among the best is Tiki Bob’s Cantina where we went twice in the Detroit rental charter bus because of the place’s fun and unique Polynesian-style atmosphere! For some serious dancing, I reckon you’d love Leland City Club which is one of the hottest and trendiest dance clubs in Detroit.
