Top tourist attractions to take a charter bus to in San Francisco

March 21st, 2007

By taking a charter bus to San Francisco, you’re opening your world up to fabulous dining experiences, lively night spots, and unique cultural observations.
Take a charter bus to visit Alcatraz
No stop in SF is complete without a charter bus rental to Alcatraz, the highly famous rock-prison. It is a must-see not only because it used to house some of the World’s most infamous criminals, but you’ll learn a whole lot more about the planning of this island fortress. While your San Francisco charter bus rental cannot take you directly on the island obviously, your group can find the drop off spots very convenient. The witty guides will serve you some snacks and beverages while heading on out to the island. The audio tour is also highly informative.
Golden Gate Bridge
It boasts of a vibrant color of orange that, from far, resembles gold…but gold it is not. However, this is doesn’t make it any less magnificent. The bridge is so colossal by structure and provides an amazing view of the Bay. When the charter bus gets to one side of the bridge, you can view the entire skyline of San Francisco with one gaze. This is a great time to take pictures.
Chinatown
There are many other Chinatowns in America but there are no other Chinatowns that is more like the original Mong Kok than this one in San Francisco! When you take the rental charter bus to San Francisco’s Chinatown, you will be tempted to buy all the seemingly designer apparel at rock bottom prices.
Haight-Ashbury
While Chinatown reminds you of Mong Kok area in China, Haight-Ashbury will bring you back in time. As the charter bus enters the place, you’ll enter the world of hippies, and a time when America was enjoying the free love and peace movement. You can almost hear Janis Joplin playing as you walk around this nostaligic neighborhood made famous by the late 1960’s.
Restaurant Gary Danko
Among all the places that the charter bus took us out on for our meals, Restaurant Gary Danko never fails to leave an impressionable image in our minds – and we reckon the same will happen to you too when you take a charter bus there. If there’s one word to describe Gary Danko, it would be magical…strange as it may seem to describe a restaurant. Don’t believe us, take a charter bus there and see for yourself.

There’s no better way to get around San Francisco than by renting a charter bus. No need to worry about group transportation or finding a parking spot. You can focus on having fun while the San Francisco charter bus rental transports you around town.

Well-balanced charter bus vacation in Fresno for kids and adults alike

March 19th, 2007

My vacations are usually spent with family members and last summer, it was no different – except for one simple fact. We all rented a mini charter bus and headed on to Fresno California for a sunny holiday! Fresno can be found nestled almost in the center of California with a good distance away from the major California metropolis. But what we saw from the charter bus windows the moment we entered Fresno, we knew we are going to have a good time.

If there’s one thing I am sure about about this charter bus trip to Fresno… the kids had a great time. We took a day trip to Yosemite Park where all of us couldn’t stop ooh-ing over its massive size. At every turn the rented charter bus took, Yosemite Park blew us away with its unbelievable sites that you only see in photos. Our next trip took us from nature to the water. The charter bus took us to Island Water Park which is a giant water park with more than twenty slides and rides! Needless to say, the kids were more than happy to experience this waterpark. Some of them even tried out the miniature golf and showed enough skills to make their parents envision Tiger Woods in the making.

For some fun on our own, after the babysitters were in place, the adults took the charter bus to Madera Wine Trail where there are many working wineries. Indeed, the charter bus driver told us that Madera Wine Trail is one of Fresno’s best kept secret – we couldn’t agree more. We got to see how wine was made and also sat down for some sampling. A few of us came home with a couple of bottles of wine to take home too! With the kids out for the day, we managed to squeeze in some time for the Clovis Rodeo and sampled fabulous food and exciting bull-riding!
For this vacation, all of us had the chance to have fun and would I do this again in the near future? You bet.  Our Fresno charter bus rental allowed us to have a great time as a family with fun spots for everyone to enjoy.

Renting a charter bus in San Jose, California couldn’t have been easier

March 15th, 2007

San Jose offers an extremely unique charter bus experience simply because of the fact that there’s a very special blend of American and Spanish cultures in San Jose. When you group rents a charter bus in California, you’ll experience something completely different from what you would get from somewhere more saturated by tourists. You will get a real lesson in culture.

Do I recommend going for a holiday in San Jose? You bet! It was absolutely great fun for everyone – kids and adults alike. The charter bus that we rented was comfortable…pretty much like a mobile home, in fact. Once we got settled down, the charter bus cruised down the streets of San Jose and ferried us from one San Jose attraction to another while we relaxed and chatted inside the bus.

Café Primavera turned out to be our first charter bus stop where we LOVED the homey atmosphere combined with delicious mix of delicacies which were from the Mediterranean and California! Although reservation is preferred, they had enough space for our group of people when we went there.

And once we had our stomachs filled, it was time to climb back into the rented charter bus so that we can head on out the spot that I was waiting for! The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum! Being a little of a self-professed history freak, I had a ball just looking at the full-scale replicas of Egyptian temple and the artifacts. If you love Egyptian stuff, then you’re going to be in for quite a treat when you rent a charter bus to Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum.

The kids had a great time at the Children’s Discovery Museum where there’s a good mix of information and educational activities. This was more hands on and enjoyable than other museums we have taken the kids to. The bottom line was that the children learned a lot and had a lot of fun!

By the time we were ready to leave, I decided that this charter bus trip to San Jose has been way more fun than I had initially expected. With a charter bus rental in San Jose you will not be disappointed!

A great weekend getaway charter bus trip to San Diego

March 14th, 2007

To get out of the humdrum of daily life, I was told that the best thing to do is to get your group of friends, rent a charter bus to some place where everything is alive just to take your mind away. We managed to pack a few pieces of clothing, rent a charter bus and got down to some good old visiting and lazing around in San Diego. Why San Diego? It’s quite impossible to run out of things to do in San Diego! It’s truly a city worth renting a charter bus in because of the ease of transporting your group and because there is something for everyone there.

The weather is lovely, the whole town is alive and you can even spend time enjoying the beautiful scenery around without getting off the San Diego charter bus as it cruises around the outskirts of the city. Since we had a couple young kids in the charter bus with us, the first place we went was to Seaworld. The kids were particularly awed by the superfluity of sea animals with many different talents. And of course, they were amazed with Shamu, the ever-so-famous killer whale.

For a short picnicking trip for lunch, we hopped off the charter bus at Ellen Browning Scripps Park. The waterfront sidewalk beckons after we’re done downing the food and drinks as the kids had fun going around the wildlife preserve area. We also did a little swimming and diving before getting back into the bus and headed on out to our next destination.

We dropped the kids off at the hotel we were staying in, Horton Grand Hotel, while we did a little ghost-hunting at the Whaley House Museum! The charter bus driver told us that he had an interesting experience there, so, we were hoping that we could get lucky. But no such luck. The house is beautiful and the garden is nice but when we got back into our San Diego charter bus rental, we hopped that something paranormal had happened so that we could have a great story to tell. However, it did not take away from our trip, we had a great time and we cannot wait to our return trip to this beautiful California city!

Endless fun in Los Angeles in your charter bus rental

March 13th, 2007

Ever heard of bored people in Los Angeles? The city has so much to offer in terms of dining, shopping an entertainment that you will be trying hard to fit everything in your schedule.  That’s the kind of Los Angeles charter bus trip you can expect! Considering the number of fun places there are in Los Angeles, it was tough coming up with only five top Los Angeles hot spots to take a charter bus to.

Universal Studios Hollywood
A charter bus trip to Los Angeles wouldn’t be complete without taking the charter bus to Universal Studios Hollywood. Of course be sure to take the backlot tour though the many film sets. After you’re done reminiscing about the studio’s film sets, those who fancy movie-themed rides will have the rides of their lives!

J Paul Getty Center
This is no ordinary museum to take your Los Angeles charter bus rental to because inside the J Paul Getty Center, there is a whole collection of art pieces that you will only get to see replicas of in other galleries and museums. To say that the experience is extraordinary is an understatement as you tour the six buildings and gardens that are bound to leave an impressionable memory for a long time to come.

Circa 55

Hear the word “Beverly Hilton Hotel” and you’ll think ‘classy’– and this is precisely what Circa 55 is all about! Scrumptious food made out of hand-selected produce and they offer a wide variety of mouth-watering seafood, steaks and more!Hollywood Walk of Fame
Movie lovers will have the time of their lives as they get the chance to see tributes made to many of the famous Hollywood mega movie stars when they take the rental charter bus to Hollywood Walk of Fame. It pays tribute to more than 2,000 movie stars from all walks of life . Another significant landmark for you to have your Los Angeles charter bus drop you off at.

Aloha Sharkeez
Ready for some partying and drinking after a unabashed day of sunbathing under the awesome sun in California? Then it’s time to take the charter bus to one of Los Angeles’ most favorite nightspots – Aloha Sharkeez. It’s no surprise at all that the moment the door opens, the crowd starts piling in, so, if you want a place or table – you’d better take the charter bus there early. A little later, the bar will be filled with more twenty-something beach bums ready to party their hearts out till late! Apparently, this is the kind of place that’s consistently filled with beach lovers every day of the year, so don’t miss it for the world!

Fun-filled four days in Sacramento while traveling in a charter bus

March 12th, 2007

California’s capital is often overlooked because tourists and holiday travelers flock to other cities in California. But rent a charter bus to Sacramento and I assure you that you will be pleasantly surprised! Sacramento has a lot to offer and for people like me and my group of friends, it certainly was a welcome change when I chartered a bus there last year for a family holiday. Renting a charter bus was the best thing I did in ages because I didn’t have to worry about traffic, weather conditions, directions, traffic jams and parking. I’ll most definitely rent a charter bus again the next time I am in Sacramento.

The best thing about Sacramento is that the weather is pleasant all-year-round with very little change to their climate and temperature, so, that’s why we had all the time in the world to visit all those popular Sacramento destinations that we only read about on the Internet. The Sacramento charter bus took us to Old Sacramento where we enjoyed the many museums, entertainment outlets, cafes that bring us back to the time of the Gold Rush.

And of course, being a lover of trains,I wouldn’t miss the California State Railroad Museum for anything – hence, we took the charter bus there for half a day of fun exploration. Since we were not too familiar with the restaurants in Sacramento, the charter bus driver recommended that we try out this nifty little place called Biba – the food blew us away. To top it all off, not only was the food amazing, the staff were extremely helpful, courteous and the bill was affordable! The next time you’re in Sacramento, go try their delicious food! By the time we were ready to check out of our beautiful hotel, SpringHill Suites Sacramento Airport Natomas, we felt that a four-day- charter bus rental to Sacramento certainly isn’t enough.

Charter Bus trip to Long Beach California – sea animals, tours, beaches, museums and more!

March 6th, 2007

A charter bus trip to Long Beach was exactly what I needed as a end-of-the-year holiday getaway! Having never been on a luxury liner before, I can tell you the first thing you should do with your private Long Beach charter bus is to take you to the Queen Mary luxury liner cruise. You’ll get to experience not only the best Long Beach hotels and restaurants; you’ll enjoy private parties and see many popular Long Beach tourist attractions along the way.

When you rent a charter bus to Long Beach, you should also see what used to be a Soviet Submarine more popularly known as the Scorpion Submarine.

Your group’s charter bus trip to Long Beach wouldn’t be complete without at least paying a visit to the Aquarium of the Pacific. There were about 12,000 (and counting) sea creatures there and the view kept me captivated. There are 3 different eco-systems that they created that bring you up close and personal with gigantic sea animals like the sea lions, seals…and of course, the always popular predator…sharks!

Here’s the surprising thing – not being a fan of history and museums, I found that when the charter bus dropped me off at Rancho Los Alamitos, I totally enjoyed myself there just going through the six Agricultural buildings, some of which were rebuilt and some reenacted. The gardens were amazingly beautiful and I recommend anyone to visit.

All in all, when it was time to get back on the Long Beach charter bus rental, there was a part of me that changed and didn’t want to leave California. Our group had a great time in this coastal paradise, made easier with our charter bus rental expert, The BusBank.
