Wild and whacky charter bus weekend getaway in Atlanta Georgia

April 20th, 2007

There is so much to see and do in Atlanta that it’s not completely possible to take a charter bus getaway for a weekend and expect to see everything. Together with some friends, we discovered there was a lot more to Atlanta than that cola company. Before setting off on a charter bus for Atlanta Georgia, we wrote up a whole list of things that we wanted to see and do in Atlanta. But at least we can say that we had a great time there and will not hesitate to plan another charter bus trip to Atlanta.

It wouldn’t make any sense to take a charter bus to Atlanta Georgia and not at least make a charter bus stop at the famed CNN Studios, would it? We took a short guided tour around the facilities, learned about how the taping works and participated in the Talk Back Live. Another memorable charter bus stop was the awesome Fox Theatre. We learned from our bus driver, Steve, that they almost tore this historical building down. Now this gem of a building is one of Atlanta’s most prized processions!  Our next destination was at the Martin Luther King Jr tribute called the The King Center It was awesome to see the life of a great American Legend in front of his many admirers.  You don’t come all the way to Atlanta in a charter bus to eat fast food – so we unanimously agreed to eat at a place called Ann’s Snack Shack. We were overwhelmed with the number of people waiting for their food while we tried to elbow through. Boy, the wait was definitely worth it be sure to stop there next time with your Atlanta charter bus rental

Take a ride—Charter a bus to Atlanta, Georgia!

January 19th, 2007

Atlanta, Georgia, has become a cultural metropolis in the South.  An interesting juxtaposition of modern commerce and American history, Atlanta makes for a wonderful group trip.  Chartering a bus to Atlanta is the easy way to make sure that your group hits as many of the travel destinations within Atlanta as possible.  Also, coordinating transportation for your entire group can be tiresome and driving in Atlanta, with its many different freeways and frequent congestion, can be stressful.  Instead, choose to relax and let someone else take care of your transportation by booking an Atlanta charter bus rental.

Atlanta has become a corporate stronghold not only in America but in the world. You’ll want to have the Atlanta motorcoach stop at the CNN Center/Studio Tour.  The tour is a great way to gain insight into one of the world’s top news centers.  Inside the Turner Store, you can even put your newly honed broadcast skills to the test and be filmed reading top news stories.  You’ll also definitely want to visit the World of Coca-Cola, a tribute museum to Atlanta’s most famous product.

Also, be sure to take your Atlanta charter bus to the sites that memorialize the struggle for desegregation in the United States.  The number one place you must visit is the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site.  You’ll be able to see King’s birthplace, Ebenezer Baptist Church and the King Center, where both Martin Luther King Jr. and his wife, Coretta, are laid to rest.  Visitors to these sites have described them as nothing short of inspirational.
