Charter Bus Rentals In Annapolis, Maryland!
May 11th, 2007If you’re looking for a true nautical adventure, look no further than the capital city of Maryland, Annapolis, founded in 1649. Rich with history yet bustling with the fresh energy of the United States Naval Academy, “America’s Sailing Capital” (and former national capital before Washington D.C.) is the perfect place to go for an informational and relaxing adventure. Why not charter a bus in Annapolis and make your trip to Annapolis a group event?
Last fall, while on a charter bus tour of ocean towns on the East Coast, we decided to bring our group to Annapolis for the day. Our first stop in our charter bus was at St. John’s College, the third oldest higher educational institution in the United States. The pictures we took next to McDowell Hall at the college were stunning—the juxtaposition of the fall colors and the cream colored tower is amazing. We then rode over in the charter bus to the United States Naval Academy. We took one of the inexpensive walking tours of the grounds; the younger women of the group definitely seemed to enjoy seeing the young sailors in uniform at the academy! Our day culminated with a walk along the waterfront and then driving to the Deep Creek Restaurant and Marina where we had incredibly fresh seafood—I personally recommend the crab cakes!
We wouldn’t have been able to have such a relaxing trip and visit so many areas if not for our decision to use to BusBank to plan our Annapolis charter bus rental. I highly recommend visiting Annapolis for a memorable, scenic trip you aren’t likely to forget for a long time!

Classy good time with colleagues during charter bus business trip to Kansas City
May 10th, 2007Kansas City Missouri is a well-known business travel destination and very popular with conventioneers. Our company rented a charter bus to take me and my colleagues around Kansas City for a three-day bonus trip there after our convention and meetings adjourned for the day. If you’ve never been to Kansas City, it’s time for your group to rent a charter bus and discover a whole new world exploding with culture and art. If you want class, you can find it in Kansas City!
The Country Club Plaza of Kansas City is certainly a place to take the rented motor coach to not a Kansas City School Bus. The club has a looming plaza with fancy romantic fountains and sculptures. It makes you feel like you stepped into a movie set. We also loved the Crown Center for a great shopping experience.
If only a couple of you are into Jazz, take the Kansas City minibus rental to Blue Room, a high-end classy jazz bar in the middle of the city. Good thing there’s no smoking inside so you can breathe and enjoy great music at the same time! For a little bit of history and baseball culture, you’ll find the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum very interesting.
All of us had a very good time on this charter bus trip to Kansas City, Missouri. Next time I come to Kansas City, I am renting a charter bus and coming here with my whole family.

Rented a charter bus to Grand Rapids and had fabulous time!
May 9th, 2007This was I figured after renting a charter bus to Grand Rapids Michigan last fall – you have to dig beneath the surface of things in order to totally enjoy and understand Grand Rapids for what it is. The only book I found useful was the one offered by Lonely Planet – the kind of stuff that only the locals knew (like our charter bus driver, in my case!)
Sure, I did a lot of the touristy stuff during that trip, like challenging myself to rock-climbing at the Higher Ground Rock Climbing Center. I never climbed anything other than stairs before, it nearly did me in! Another touristy Grand Rapids attraction that I genuinely liked was the Laser Quest. The multilevel maze, the special lighting combined with the fog and sound effects…they were all astonishing.
The great thing with this trip is that we took a lot of trips in Grand Rapids that are not publicized as much – like Grand Rapids Chorus of Sweet Adeline where there was an amazing four-part vocal harmony performance. With help of The BusBank we definitely enjoyed the charter bus trip to Grand Rapids. Also note, for smaller groups, The BusBank also offers minibus rentals in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

May 8th, 2007School Buses are an economical alternative when budgets are tight. In many cases, School bus rentals make more sense for big groups on short distances where motorcoach comforts aren’t required. School bus rentals generally do not have lavatories, air conditioning or much luggage capacity, so weather conditions and the length of your trip are important considerations.

Make your way by charter bus to Minneapolis Minnesota
May 8th, 2007The only way to fully and completely appreciate what Minneapolis has to offer is to go with the flow. I mean, this is one good place to go whether with family or with friends. I learned one thing, though – to rent a charter bus on trips like this. It honestly made all the difference. It doesn’t matter if you rent a Minneapolis school bus or a Minneapolis minibus. We could all focus on enjoying the vacation without worrying about traffic, parking and directions.
There were too many places us to enjoy in one week but a couple of Minneapolis attractions totally blew my mind. For one, First Avenue which was a blast! I’ve never experienced anything quite like it. No traffic, lots of music, excellent atmosphere and superb acts to enjoy the whole day through. Oh, I just can’t say enough good things about Minneapolis’ First Avenue. Of course, I went to Nicollet Mall too which is an outdoor mall where I did some serious shopping! Boy, the number of presents I bought there. I rented a bike and rode around shopping for a unique shopping experience in Minneapolis. You can eat there, sleep there, walk there, and shop the mall was like a mini-city.
Although not much of a skater, the kids wanted to take the charter bus to Depot Skating Rink to ‘chill out’. There are lots of dating couples there, it was great fun watching all these folks falling down and trying to impress each other! I’m not hot for museums but there’s this place in Minneapolis called the Minneapolis Structure Garden. Another charter bus attraction in Minneapolis that you should not miss is the Minnehaha Park and Falls. I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed the place. I never knew Minneapolis had such a beautiful fall before this charter bus trip. And if you’re into seriously good food, you should take the charter bus to Manny’s Steakhouse –great food that will leave you little light in the wallet but it will definitely be worth it!

Eye-opening charter bus trip to Jackson Mississippi with a bunch of old friends
May 8th, 2007If you’ve been to Jackson, Mississippi’s capital by a chartered school bus, you know how amazing the city is. I can’t say enough good things about this city because I took a rental charter bus to Jackson with a bunch of old schoolmates recently and we simply had a ball. We were not particularly big on history but let me tell you this, it was definitely an eye-opener. Jackson is also host to many different family-friendly attractions that you can’t find anywhere else in the country.
What’s a whole bunch of old friends to do in Jackson but take the charter bus to the Dixie National Rodeo and Livestock Show to see some of the best cowboys in the region. If your timing is right, a charter bus visit to this Jackson attraction can take up your whole day. We were bewitched by all the amazingly beautiful buildings and architectural structures in Jackson that we took the rental charter bus to a host of beautiful places including the Mississippi Agricultural Forestry Museum, the Farish Street Historical District, and the Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle among others.
After all that traveling in a motor coach, we split up and took a Jackson Mississippi Mini Bus rental to the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra where divinity took the form of music played by hundreds of accomplished musicians. It was a great time in Jackson, I hope we come back soon.

Dancing all over Detroit during my charter bus trip
May 7th, 2007We all know that Detroit is the heart of automobile production but I learned something new when I rented a charter bus to Detroit for the fifth time (this time, it’s for my old college roommate’s wedding) Detroit is the oldest city in the Midwest. That’s why it’s got all those cultural scenes all over the place and there are so many big draws for foreign tourists that it’s really no wonder that Detroit is consistently buzzing with activities! Tourists usually love to take their rental charter bus to places of historical value like Detroit Museum of Art and Renaissance Center. For me and my gal pals, the highlights are mostly on Detroit’s nightspots! That’s what happens when one of us gets married. Anyway, we’re glad that we had the charter bus driver with us…no one wants to be the designated driver every night. And the Detroit charter bus driver was so nice to us that we took him to dinner one night too!
Although I’ve been to Detroit quite a number of times, I’ve never been to this Detroit restaurant called Astoria Pastry Shop but the charter bus driver promised us that we would love it…and boy, did we! We stuffed ourselves silly with their desserts and endless list of freshly baked goodies. Honestly, this is pastry haven. The bad news is that we probably walked out of the shop a couple of lbs heavier after that – but the good news is that we probably danced the lbs away every night!
Talking about nightspots, Detroit is never short of clubs and bars. Among the best is Tiki Bob’s Cantina where we went twice in the Detroit rental charter bus because of the place’s fun and unique Polynesian-style atmosphere! For some serious dancing, I reckon you’d love Leland City Club which is one of the hottest and trendiest dance clubs in Detroit.
So, I learned that Detroit is not only about cars and bikes; there are lots more to Detroit than meets the eye! So, don’t hesitate to rent a charter bus to Detroit for a great time! With The BusBank you can customize your trip to cater to your group’s needs whether you need a Detroit School Bus or a Detroit Minibus rental, The BusBank can get you the right bus at the right price.
