Cherry Blossom’s, The Nation’s Capital Perfect for Group Travel

The National Cherry Blossom Festival is held each spring in Washington, Dc. with over a million people including hundreds of thousands of group tours and charter bus groups heading into the nation’s capital.
This year will be bigger than ever as it is the 100 year anniversary of the United States receiving the gift of the Cherry Blossoms. As part of the friendship between Japan and the United States, a gift of 3,000 Cherry trees were presented to the city of Washington, DC in 1912 . A simple gift of friendship has led to one of the most beautiful sites in America each spring. The festival will run from March 20th, to April 27,2012
