Great time via charter bus in Tuscaloosa
May 24th, 2007It was nothing short of surprising for the bunch of us who needed to get away from the daily humdrums of life when we rented a charter bus to Tuscaloosa early this year right after a full blast New Year celebration. Tuscaloosa offers the right mix of history and culture together with modernity that was enchanting for the bunch of us. Most of all, we needed to rent a charter bus to…just get away! And Tuscaloosa, for us, was definitely the right choice.
The Southern charm was irresistible and if you’re a fan of antiques, you just have to take the charter bus to Gorgas House which dates back to 1820. Although we couldn’t afford many of the antiques on display there, boy, we had an eyeful just taking in all those amazingly beautiful and expensive antique pieces. To make the charter bus trip even more memorable, we took the rented charter bus to Battle-Friedman House on the very same day. So you can bet we had a day filled with history and culture of Tuscaloosa.
For some of us, at the top of our lists of things to do in Tuscaloosa was to take the charter bus to a place where we can sample the night life there. The charter bus driver recommended Jazziz C’s, a great choice. Jazziz C’s offers us the chance to taste what Tuscaloosa folks like – quality martinis and New Orleans jazz music! Not all us were in favor of martinis but the bar had a long list of beer, wine and hard liquor to choose from. In one word, we would like to describe this Tuscaloosa watering hole as superb! Before we ended this charter bus trip in Tuscaloosa, we took the charter bus to Evangeline’s which serves mouth-watering dishes made out of fresh ingredients that you can taste. Not only do they taste good, this Tuscaloosa restaurant makes their food look pretty darn good too. For some R&R, I strongly recommended a charter bus trip to Tuscaloosa for a quick weekend getaway!
