A memorable charter bus day trip in Juneau

May 22nd, 2007

I’ve always been curious about the capital city of the Last Frontier, Juneau, so, I jumped at the chance when our scout troop decided to rent a charter bus to Juneau for a day trip. Of course, the first thing that I wanted to take the charter bus to was to the absolutely breathtaking scenic attractions like Gastineau Channel and Mount Roberts. Juneau is totally different from the traditional metropolitan areas of United States

Our first stop was Mount Roberts Tramway for a quick hiking trip. The hike was good but the better part of the trip was when we went on the 6 minute ride up on a tram on the 1,670 mountain slope! The Juneau scenery is awesome.

Our group didn’t have time to take the charter bus for Juneau Sport fishing and Sightseeing. I would love to troll for salmon and halibut but it is on the agenda for our next charter bus trip to Juneau. Our final stop was at Chan’s Thai Kitchen, what a way to end the day trip. It was a great time and we have already begun to plan our next trip back to Juneau.
