The only way to enjoy Wichita is by charter bus
April 26th, 2007Many people envision Wichita to be a place they can retire to and not somewhere they would take a charter bus holiday to – but you’ll be surprised with the number of top charter bus attractions that Wichita holds for tourists. My charter bus weekend getaway got off to a good start with the first place our group took the charter bus to was the Exploration Place.
If you have kids on your charter bus trip, remember to take the youngsters to Sedgwick County Zoo which showcases more than 2,500 animals up close and personal. It’s not Kansas’s top family outdoor attraction for nothing!
What was surprisingly unique was the experience I had at the Old Cowtown Museum. It’s the place you get to see Wichita’s place in history. You should ask the charter bus driver to take you to this amazing Wichita attraction to enjoy the covered wagon rides, games, live music and dancing On this charter bus trip, our group went to Wichita Boathouse to see Jayhawk which is one of the three racing yachts. Lots of opportunities for picture-taking here and the kids will definitely have a ball at the Riverkids Water Sports Program. Oh, and you’ve not tasted pizza until you’ve taken the charter bus to this non-fancy Wichita restaurant called Fusion Pizza Inc! Awesome pizzas of all kinds…want to try what Oriental pizzas? Head on over in your Wichita charter bus and I promise you you’ll have a great meal and a good time!
