Phoenix, the ultimate charter bus getaway destination
March 28th, 2007From gardens to museums, art galleries to zoos, theme parks to concerts, there are endless number of things to do in Phoenix. If you rent a charter bus to Phoenix, chances are, you won’t be done with this amazingly scenic city in a day. We found Phoenix to be an amazing getaway because it offers a nice blend of modernization with nature and history. It’s truly difficult to find a city with such a nice balance – don’t believe us, get your group and rent a Phoenix charter bus and see it for yourself! In the meantime, we’ve come up with our personal top hot spots for Phoenix.
1. Mystery Castle
Don’t you wish you had the kind of father that Mary Lou Gulley had? A father who built a gorgeous castle for a daughter who wished for one! Phoenix’s Mystery Castle was built when Mr. Gulley came to Phoenix to find a cure for his tuberculosis, and along the way built this amazing castle. You’ll be awed the moment you step out of the charter bus – we guarantee this, even if you’ve been there before.
2. The Wrigley Mansion
Since we’re on the roll, here’s another castle built out of love which you should take the charter bus to. Willian Wrigley Jr., the genius behind Wrigley’s chewing gum decided to built this 16,850 sq.ft winter ‘cottage’ as a 50th Anniversary gift to his wife. This mansion holds 24 rooms (the SMALLEST mansion among all those belonging to Mr. Wrigley) and 17 baths. Now, this mansion is a private club to members who pay their minuscule annual fee of $10 – proceeds are donated to charitable organizations. Make your reservations before taking the rented charter bus there – 24 hour notice is required.
3. The Oasis at Pointe South Mountain Resort
In the summer heat, the sun can be downright cruel in Phoenix, hence, you should take the charter bus to this place because it is a luxury resort that you can let loose, stay cool, get pampered, play golf, fine dine and just hang out. It’s a gem of a place because it is clean, well-kept and the staff are extremely professional and properly trained. Pointe South Mountain Resort won the Best Guest Relations Award from the American hotel and Lodging Association – so, it makes perfect sense for you to take your charter bus there to experience the affability of their staff and quality of their services.
4. Rhythm Room
To get your toes tapping, take the charter bus to Rhythm Room for some good ole jazz and blues music. Apart from the fact that when the place gets crowded, you can hardly see your hand in front of your face, this is THE PLACE for good relaxing music and fine drinks. When you take the charter bus there, just let loose and get into the music – forget about everything else and you’ll enjoy the Rhythm Room a whole lot more!
5. Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa
This is Arizona’s biggest and grandest hotel that offers everything under the Phoenix sun…from golf courses, to tennis courts, swimming pools and heated pools, water slides, cabanas…etc, you name it, they have it. It’s an awesome place to stay – but for those who are on a budget, you can still take the charter bus there and enjoy their services for a fee.
The BusBank’s Phoenix charter bus rental service will ensure your group can enjoy these great places with ease and comfort. So, give us a call and start with an Arizona charter bus…and you’re ready for your trip to Phoenix for a quick holiday.
